Now i do a daft thing when im out, if theres somthing i want to remember, a song, a name or whatever i punch it into my fone, am i alone here?

Now i wrote down a few key words, and from what i can remember is this:

Him and his mate, were driving down the coastroad on a Rm 250,
and was going flat out at 130mph, he went past a cop car at around 60 NSL and got pulled further down by a different copper, he gave him a producer, altho it wasnt his bike, he hasnt got a licence.. he drove off with his mate and threw the ticket away...
Now obviosly we know its Utter shite.. but why do people say such utter balls

He didnt know i was a 'biker' and when i told him he was talking utter tripe, he wasnt best pleased about me embarrasing him infront of his jumped up little pals and stormed off.

Has anyone else had this?

Bikes are invariably 'cool' , so I suppose they attract the sort of people who like to spin yarns about escapades on them and run ins with the law. I did once overhear a chav talking to another about how he'd lost the police in a chase on his 50.

My uncle (who should know better) came out to talk too me about bikes, he has a bandit 600 and is after an R6.

Now then he tried to tell me how an R6 is 150hp..... I tried politely to correct him but he was having none of it. He then told me how my bike is 120hp....I again tried to tell him how in reality an R1 is probably nearer 150hp and my ZX is about 100hp at best probably and that kawasaki claim 112hp or something this doesnt mean it actuially is.

Now he aint a random smackhead dood, he is a squadren leader!

I met this little chav boy who told me that his 125 caviga mito did 130mph and i told him that that was utter shite.

The best was his mate who told my little brother to put oil in the engine and turn it in to a two stroke, but the one that really gets me is that he was telling me about his mates bikes which he called a mini blade?

Apparently he put a cbr1000rr engine in a 250, i told him that it was impossible and you are a twat, he said it pissed all over R1s i tried to explain that there is a reason why the blade is that size and if they could put it in a 250 chassis dont you think they would?

Another one is when some guy comes up to me and my bro when were standing next to our bikes CBR600F btw and told me he had a ZXR400 so i was like ok, he asked me how much it weighed so i said about 170kg, he told me that his mates R1 weighed 107kg i was like the CBR125R weighs 113kg.


Has anyone noticed that everyones mate has an R1?

Oh i forgot the guy who told me that his mates R1 weighs 107kg also told me that his ZXR400 was 33bhp restricted and did 150mph.

There was a good thread a while back on here about the biggest bullshitters in general. There were some classics on there if you search.(can't be arsed)

I tend to just cringe when people bullshit or try to change the subject. I find it embarassing.

I find it hard to believe that when someone finds out you have a bike they don't then assume you might know a few facts and think they can throw around unfounded bullshit without suspicion!?

Hmm, the R1 thing is quite funny.

A few years ago arrived home on my ZXR400, to find a guy trying to sell my mum a new front door. He was doing quite well too, since she thought the £4000 he'd knocked off the price of the £8000 door was a bargain!!

Have to let her off though, my dad had just left her.

Anyway, I said "what's this then?" and as soon as she explained and the salesman saw my face, he started to try the bike chat with me...

Him: "My mate's got an R1"
Me: "Yeah?"
Him: "Yeah, he took me on the back of it a few weeks ago. It's bloody fast. He wheelied it at 100mph and I fell off the back!"
Me: "Blimey, and you're OK???"
Him: "Yeah, was alright. I had 2 pairs of jeans on and slid into a hay bale!"
Me: "I think you should leave."

He didn't come back or try to persue the sale of the door. I told my mum she was stupid.
