Right.

Need to upgrade the headlight bulbs on my brothers NSR (2000), but...
How the hell do you get to the bulbs? Tried to get the nose cone off but to no avail. I'm assuming we need to take the front off to access the rubber caps on the bike of the light. If this right how the hell do you get the front fairing off?! I did try but, hey.

(Yes I know I should already know this) Mr. Green

If someone knows please tell us. Mr. Green

take off mirrors , the 4 top fairing screws on each side . pull a bit the fork fairing , then undo the speedo cable and pull the fork fairing out . be carefull with the light loom and the ends of the fork fairing , they are fragile and caught underneath the top sides fairing .

i would like to add : the max power is 12V 35/35W (now they are making halogens) , do not try to fit car bulbs like 45/40 or more , the fairing and the headlight itself will melt , also the alternator is not enough powerfull for these bulbs

Sorry people, thought I'd bump this rather than start a new topic...

Alains, or anyone for that matter, do you know if you need to remove the screen to get to the headlight bulbs? I need to replace a headlight (dip beam is gone, high still works), but don't fancy taking the screen out, because I know I won't get it back in again.

Coincidentally it's flip's old NSR I need to do it to Laughing

Thanks in advance,
Jon
