OK bit of a noob question but here goes. I've my Mito a couple of months now and the oil that came in it is running low. Ive got some silkolene ready to go in. BUT, do I have to drain the old oil out of the tank first or is it ok to just add the new oil to the old one if its a different brand?

Yes you can mix them. There are certain types that can't be mixed, but they are pretty rare.

Yeah, you can mix them. But when applying 2 stroke your best to use the same type of oil over and over. I.e. fully synthetic or not fully synthetic.

Stu Thumbs Up
