Do you legally require mirrors on bikes
mates RS 125 passed its MOT with out them
so i need to find out if its true

Hi

Used to be pretty common to encourage people to ride around without mirrors to force them to do shoulder checks for their tests.

Hardly like vehicle mirrors are the best designed things around. Good for giving you a false sense of security.

I don't think I could ride without mirrors.
The ones on my ZXR are very well placed, but yes I tend to rely on them too much and forget shoulder checks a lot of the time.
Wouldn't feel confident without them though.

I ride without mirrors a lot.

Anyone who rides a GPZ500s might as well be for all the good they are (well, they are handy for checking the elbows of your jacket are still there).
