Just had a few years off the road (not enough to lose my NCB though!).
Previously had GPz750R, GSX550ES, and a fair few others. I have just bought (don't laugh) a Hyosung Hyper 125 scooter, I am keen to derestrict as it's fairly gutless and I have to go up a 1 in 6 hill 50 yds from my house - no other way out of the village. I believe it is Suzuki-based, anyone know how the restriction is set up on it? I am only after a bit of grunt up to 40mph, obviously not top speed or anything like that, I have an Alfa for that sort of thing.......

ist it 2 stroke or 4 stroke, if its a 4t u got no chance really of gettin any more power?

I had an hyosung 125 for a couple of years.

It's a 4 stroke 125, so no, no chance of derestriction. It's already derestricted. Smile

It's 4 stroke, Oh well, so it shall be, might just treat her to the posh petrol. Thanks all the same!
