i have got a honda cg125 for sale in stoke on trent for £100

this bike is a perfect project and the engine is in great condition.
the bike is a good runner, but on the down side the bike was a write off as it was stolen, but with a bkit of money spent on it it would be a dream, it is missing mirrors, indicators, numberplate, needs a new back tyre, the wiring is all there but needs putting in the right places,

desspite all of that it is a great runner Mr. Green

"D" Registration is 01 August 1986-31 July 1987 which would make your bike a CG125BR I think.

These are the chassis numbers so you can check:

CG125BR
CG125BR-8100001 to 8105010

CG125BR-J
CG125BR-8106211 to 8115880

CG125BR-K
JC18-1000002

According to my service manual the CG125BR was build in Brazil.

Brazilian is commonly used to desribe the models N-reg and later that had the new bodywork and slightly different frame. The bikes were still being made in Japan at this point. In fact David silver imported a load of new japanese CG125's back in 1999-2000 which were the last year they were made in Japan.

So yes it could be a Japanese or Brazilian bike but it's a japanese style not the Brazilian model. Point conceded to to Toby R. Wink

I see what you mean now.

Probably best off marketing it as a D Registration bike (Mention the year too, as its the later half) and not mentioning the model at all.
