Suspention Setup

Rather than spend all my money on a tarty rear shock, i would rather spend a bit less and get my bike set up to my weight with the standard stuff etc.

any shops that will do this ?

IMO one of the best options is a trackday where people are doing suspension set ups there - that way you can go and try it (in a constant environment), come back and say 'naah', get then to try something else...

I intended to do that but just changing to the bog standard track settings for my bike made enough difference to keep me happy for most of last year.

100% used to do it a lot, I'm not sure which companies are doing it these days.

yea, ive seen some people drop the yokes or something down a bit, i guess getting a bike set up to your exact height and weight on standard suspention is more important thatn sticking a a poorly setup aftermarket shock which is 10x the price.

if u want to knwo how to sort the front end out i could copy out a flwo chart from BIKE magazine for u then u could do it your self, coz its pritty easy, and ill have alook for summut to help u thru doing hte back end if u wish

im sure its set up for a fat bloke, the bloke who rode it before me was pretty fat, but knew loads about bikes and prolly fiddled it.
thing is im 9 stone 10 not 13 stone 10.
