Hi,

Anyone got one of these?

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-CBR-600-CBR600-CARBON-OVAL-YOSHIMURA-EXHAUST-CAN_W0QQitemZ8027843259QQcategoryZ10460QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If so what is it like? How loud is it?

Cheers.

They are really good quality, release quite a bit of power and insanely loud. Probably one of the loudest makers of exhaust. Twisted Evil

I think they retail at about £350.

They are the daddy of end cans, but l think you have to have the bike re-jetted with them unlike other makes of cans?

You should have your bike rejetted when you change any can, it's just that nobody bothers.

Yoshimura's only look cool on GSXR's. Razz

What does rejetting involve and is it costly?

Cheers.

Yoshi seem to differ in quality - I'm not impressed with the overall look of my full system, hence why I'm having a custom can made up. Think there's a difference between Yoshis produced in the US and those from Japan (the Japanese seem to have turned tig-welding into an art form).

As for rejetting, get a dynojet in there (selection of jets, springs, drill for velocity stacks and adjustable needles) for £80-£110 and then some time on a dyno to set them up properly. You will notice the difference when done correctly.

My Yoshi has a bore that is comparable size to the one shown and isn't excessively loud on idle - when winding it up though, the bike emits a fantastic, throaty/aggressive resonance. A 'nice' noise, but not too loud...
