felt real stupid today

i built up my new 125 cruiser bike put on the battery , pressed the starter and ,,no go , i checked all the wiring ,perfect ,i tried kick starting ,nothing dead as a do-do . took out th the plug ,,no spark
put it all back together , still no go . my heart sank , it's brand new for god sake ..so very despondent i rang the company i got it from and told him ,it wont fire no spark ,, ah dread ..
he said . i bet you got the side stand down ,,
it wont fire with the side stand down ,,it has a switch o it ,,,oops ,went and tried again ,and oh yeah ,fired first time ..
didn't say anything about that in the manual though ..hehe

I nearly phoned the rac when I had my er5 becasue it wouldn't go anywhere when I put it in gear. Blimmin' side stand switch.

i see you have a Kymco zing ,,nice little bike i thought when i saw one ..kymco are very well made for a cheap bike ,dont you think..
but watch out for the chinese .they are gettin a lot better these days ,i think .
