Hello All

Just thought i`d let you know about this. I have 2 bikes 1 track and one commute. The commute is a 1 1/2year old Honda Deauville.

You`ll never loose your license on the motorway on a deauville and after 20,000 miles in 1 1/2 year. i still love the comfort. But to be honest the bike is not looking good. I clean it and everything but i just can not stop it corroding in front of my eyes. It looks around 3 years old. (british winters suck)

I have just had it serviced and pointed this out to Honda Portsmouth, they photo`ed the bike and said leave it with us.

I picked it back up yesterday with the following new parts, b.t.w it was in to fix a defective key lock on the ignition.

new complete exhaust
new complete forks
new side stand , main stand, gear and brake leavers.
new lock mechanism all round.
All engine covers replaced with new.

To say i was stunned was an under statement, The bike looks new again.

I know they should make bike to stand british winters (salt) but this service from portsmouth honda and honda UK was excellent.

Thanks again

Thats what you call good service Thumbs Up

Places like that get the buisness they deserve, because of the service they provide.

Where are they these days. Last time I was down on Portsmouth what had been the Portsmouth Honda Centre had become Motorcycle City (few years ago now).

All the best

Keith

They are on the Eastern Road in Farlington, opposite Sainsburys/Homebase as you come down the bridge...
