I think it looks great a bit of messing round with the belly pan will make it look better, but I keep imagining it with twin side mounted end cans(one either side)to fill in the rear end gap a bit.

It looks very nice, but a little bit cliche'd.

If you had to draw a streetfighter you'd draw that. Although I love that seat unit.

Do you do this type of thing for a living? I'm looking to get a fibreglass replica of a TZ250 seat unit...

Interesting kit.

None of the angles seem to match up making to kit as a whole lack cohesion.

The top of the seat unit is not inline with the top of the tank and I think you should loose the dip at the front of the pillion pad, keep it level although the height of the seat unit is right in relation to the tank. You also need to match the angle of the silencer to the angle of the seat unit to get a clean look.

The bellypan looks like an add on. The only bellypan I've ever seen work with the GSXR lump is a cut down original bellypan off an 89-92 GSXR1100 complete with the front V piece, other wise they look to wide and seem to be lacking in the front centre.

I've never been a fan of the snub nose bikini fairing look but yours is the best I've ever seen. If you are going to modify the tank I would adjust the angle at the front so it matchs the slope of the fairing.

For what its worth I think the Bandits are one of the hardest bikes to do a bodykit for. the swooping curves of the frame mean things will never look tidy as you can't match angles of bodywork to angles of the frame

I'm not a naked bike/streetfighter fan but it definately gets the thumbs up from me for first impressions. Can't wait to see the final detailed job.
The headlight unit is the first thing I noticed and will be a good unique selling point for you.
I like the overall line over the top from the tail to the lamp but agree that the tail could be a bit shorter, just inside the back wheel to give it more of a lean forward.

Not keen on it.

Front headlight doesn't look right, sort of reminds me of the new er-6.

Tank looks ok.

Belly pan looks to big.

Rear hugger lucks odd, with the backend looking opend up with slimmer tail unit. Probaly luck better if it whent further up the tyre slightly.

Tail unit looked good in first pic, but the one with it at the back looks to wide. Might luck nicer if it narrows down to just the led light.

In saying that it is a prototype, and these things always luck better after a nice paintjob.

i like it:

nose cone: looks gogeous, hopefully the light puts out enough wattage to show you where your going (the main problem with after market lights is they look good but dont do the job they are there for!)

belly pan: i like it. it will look better once the down pipes are there.

Tail Unit: not so sure. the angle looks a little strange, and its possibly a little too wide for my taste. it will probably look better with an exhaust fitted. having saids this, most others seem to think the tail unit is the best bit!

Tank: i'm no expert, you can tell this cos the only difference i can see is the "samurai" instead of "bandit" written on it.

hugger: please make this a bit bigger. although it looks nice. Bigger would mean it actually serves a purpose.

on a whole i think the bike will be gorgeous, it looks a little empty atm. however, once the downpipes and brakes, etc... are all fitted it will look much nicer. i like the idea of someone else earlier to have a black bike but with metallic red wheels, bars, and brakes. would look lurvely! Razz

Think it looks ace, maybe just a small re-sizing of the belly pan though? Apart from that it looks cool Thumbs Up

I have been looking for something a little out of the ordinary for my bandit and I love the front light fixing for this one, is it going to be road legal? Let us know when you have a price, I want one! How soon can I have it?

Not too sure about the belly pan, looks a little bit oversiazed on the bike.

Build bikes yes, but not bodywork. We can't do one off items due to the cost of having a mould done (would be sky high), hence we are working on producing an item that can go into production.

The tail is moulded to take the indicators so it's wider to allow fitment. Also if an MV exhaust style system is fitted, then it needs to be wide enough to cover the four pipes.

Ta! The light unit carries a 55W halogen as it's main unit. One of our goals was to make sure it was fit for road use. No light issues here! Wink

Our shop's been going since Jan 2001, but we've been building them long before that. The business is run by my brother (his job), where as I'm only there in my spare time because I work in the city.

our R1 is featured in this months Streetfighters Thumbs Up

I quite like it, I had a play around with the tail unit and what you've got is good, but I think to go with the theme of sharp edges I think that it need a little sharpening and making thinner... Also is looks the mutts with underseat ehausts. I played around with the pics (not good work, just to show you what I mean) Joe

damn thats sexy......

but why a bandit? bandit's are suszuki's cheap 'disposable' bike's, there nothing wrong with the motor, its the rest of the bandit.

custom frame? if not, i hope its been repainted, well. those bandits love to rust haha!

fantastic project

Loving the r1, not feeling the bandit though, like others have said something just doesnt quite fit, I think the bellypan is the prob.
