I was riding to work tonight when my fuel light came on. I can't be bothered putting fuel in it on my way home so I was wondering if anyone could tell me roughly how big the reserve is on my 98 gixer 6.

It's got to be good for 15 miles at a guess; I never ran mine that low.

disclaimer: if you run out of fuel on the way home, on the back of my guessing, it's not my fault!

On my 99 Gixxer, the fuel light flashes when petrols low... when the light becomes constant, I have about 1 - 2 miles left in the tank, I found that out the hard way once Sad

Your reserve will be approx. 3 litres.

If you're careful you'll easily do 30 miles on it.

I have a 99 Gixxer 6 btw. Smile
