hi all
I was wondering if it was possible if you can share your experiences, with IOW instructors,
not sure if it helps, i last rode in 92, where i failed my test (kicking out at a rabid jack russle on my u turn didnt do me any favours)
then my cat A expired, kids came along, so 2 wheel dreams became 4 wheel reality, but now they are older i am hoping to get back in the saddle
type of course i plan to do, depends mainly on how much my car goes for on ebay, but aiming for DAS, wont rule out the restricted though, as i cant see the wife allowing me to take the kids out on anything bigger than a hairdryer for a long while
do different instructors suit different courses? if not, just any expereinces good or bad would be appreciated
thanks |

I went with Steve Hurt and his blokes from Motag. They are older and have lots of experience and will answer all questions and queries. They actually train you not just take you out for rides, one of the guys is also a driving instructor too. Their standards are high and they are known by the examiner for their professionalism, they have a high success rate too. They can take you on restricted or DAS scheme. ____________________ Live on the Isle of Wight and ride a CBR600F |

Yes, I too have been informed that Steve Hurt and his crew (motag) have the highest pass rate, they been doing it longer for a start and have to do regular exams their selves, TBH I not heard good things about Ryde Right from several people, heard he takes more than 2 learners out on his own for a start and apparently its not allowed Motag have had a few transfer over from Ryde Right as they felt they were not being fully instructed. Its down to the individual I guess, its how you feel you are progressing at the end of the day. ____________________ Live on the Isle of Wight and ride a CBR600F |
