Having read a few posts on here I think I have realised what the best option is just wanting some opinions...

Heres the situation... im 21, I ride a speedfight 100 on a CBT ive had 4 months..everyone laughs and I find it highly amusing that I constantly find myself thrashing the poor lil engine and it just cant handle it.... I twist the throttle and i get a pffffffffffffft as i watch the speedo struggle to twitch.. Gutless. Cant even wheelie the thing. Dont get me wrong. It was fun when I got it but 3 months later im bored!! (plus these things aren't made for the abuse ppl like me give them nor is it fun watching your work mates smirking at you as they overtake uphill on the dual carriageway Rolling Eyes )

So I would like to get a bigger geared bike.. I thought about a sporty 125, NSR/Mito/CBR. But the problem is try finding a well cared for 125 Sad If I buy new its a CBR since they are cheap But I know i'll grow out of it like I have with the speedfight. My bro says he would have it off me when he's ready and by then Id be comfortable to go onto a bigger bike but I dunno if I really want a racing 125 (repairs and maintainence costs for a start. One reason I havent listed the RS really)

Theres also another thing where I want to go on journeys around cornwall (Im in plymouth, I know theres a few ppl on here from around my way so Hi Thumbs Up ) and I dont think a lil 125 would really be upto that. Too much top end thrashing which pretty much rules out buying a scrambler (I had considered an XR or a DT). But I would like to have that off road option..

I think I want the best of both worlds since a mx bike I have a choice instead of just being limited to road...Im after fairly decent top end 100ish but running 70-75 comfortable.... can I get that in a 125 mx bike?

or I can just juck all that bull**** out the window and take my DAS and get a 250/400 mx?

Argh decisions..

Go on tell me DAS is the way forward cos I know its what your all gonna say!

Well i got a Honda CBR 600FY and it is a enough power to throw me at times and i am 17 stone. If i move up it will be a fireblade or a GSXR1000 but that will be in a few years.
