Usually you can only get away with trading it for a new one......IF the finance company agree to it, if they sell it they would have to either say its still on finance you can have the bike if you make the payments and then transfer the payments to the buyer OR ask for a settlement figure fo rthe finance and try to sell the bike for this amount, so when you get the moeny for the bike you just pay a settlement on the finance......unfortunatly both are unlikely
Most dealer's tend to say your bike loses £400-£600 as soon as you put number plates on it.....then after that depends on mileage and condition
