Combination of the dreaded early morning damp road and sand nearly got me coming off a roundabout.
Someone had dropped some sand across the exit and I didn't see it till I was ontop of it (it was still dark). F'k me the front wheel nearly got the better of me, luckily I wasn't going too quick and I just about managed to catch it before I bit the black stuff it's the closest I've come to getting a peg down
Bloody great wagon right up my arse too which didn't help especially when he bipped his horn at me, for f'k sake man I was having a trouser smudgin moment and all he could do is bip his horn 'cause he had to slow down.
Take it easy out their folks it ain't nice, I know I will be

If you had of been on a bike that didn't have a 21" front wheel, lots of suspension and 36" handlebars, I suspect you would have landed on your arse. Yey for big trailies. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Definitely sounds like a touching cloth moment there mate, nice to know the driver was glad to see you didn't go down . The roads are unbelievably greasy at the moment. Spun the rear wheel up big-time the other day, noticed the revs jump from 4K to about 12K and thought "WTF!". Was my own fault really, filtered to the front of some traffic and I had to get in front quick when the lights changed, would of made more sense to just wait. ____________________ '90 TS50 > '04 Senda 125 > '91 ZXR400 > '90 CB-1 > '04 GSX-R1000 > '96 Bandit 600 > '89 ZXR750 H1 > '96 GSX-R750 SRAD > '98 RR-W Fireblade > '98 T595 Daytona > '03 Hornet 900 > '04 Fireblade > '16 GSX-S1000F (x2) > '23 XSR900 |
