advice needed on buying an nsr125

i will ask on 125sportsbikes aswell, but i live on bcf so i thought id ask here first

a friend is buying an nsr125. I have offered to look it over before he buys. Im used to an rs125 but have ridden an nsr125 before. I will be able to spot obvious faults, but are there any known things to look for on an nsr125 ?

I have heard electrics can be a bit dodgy ? Do I check this by just checking all the lights come on when told to, or are there warning signs when problems are starting to develop ?

The battery needs to be checked if the indicators come on and stay on solid then the battery will need a damn good charge or replacing. check the rc valve opens after 2000-2500 revs and again at about 6500 if its during the day.

They are the main electrical things too look out for.

Dodgy charging / ignition system and speedo not working are the main oddities on the NSR. After that just standard stuff.
