NSR exhaust interchangability

Hi,
Anyone know if an NSR125RK exhaust will fit the foxeye models? I've just bid on an exhaust on ebay which was advertised for "Alcast frame" models, but have just realised he's selling loads of other bits for "Alcast models" which are actually for RK's.... (The RK might actually be an alcast, not sure how it works)

Will this pipe be of any use to me? Gutted if I've just wasted £50... need someone to outbid me!

The older molder is also an 'alcast', I believe.

I have put an exhaust from a newer model onto an older model, so I presume that it would also work the other way around.

Required quite a bit of shoving, but then just getting the correct exhaust back on to the new model does as well!

It just doesn't seem to bend around enough at the top? Even looking at an exhaust on Jimpuntoy's NSR125RK, it doesn't look like it'd reach the manifold

Only other thing I can think of is it being off an NS125, but he's breaking an RK because he's got all the other bits (ie fairing).

Doesn't look right to me either, but that's not to say it wont fit. The pipe on mine is definately the same as in the top picture ie. curvier.

Just had a look on mine, and I think it actually will fit Toutch wood! It joins on an angle at the bottom of the engine, and although the standard exhaust is curvier, I think that this one will go OK.

If I get outbid I'll leave it, but if not I'll give it a go. Can always sell it on, I suppose...

Just been outbid, thank god Been told that the expansion chamber etc is actually smaller than the STANDARD exhaust on a foxeye model, so it would have lost me performance rather than gained anything. I'll spend the money on a rebuild instead, at nearly 27k miles on the original engine I think she's earnt one
