Yellow Cagiva planet 125(2000) requires NEW TOP END/PISTON this was my first geared bike that I used every day for a year was a nice fun bike to ride it has been sat in my garage for about 5months now as I have not got round to buying a new piston/barrel for it. I have stripped it down and all parts are in a box safe see attached pics of what it looks like now also here is what it used to look like before it too it apart: https://bikepics.com/members/planetrider/00planet125/ it is currently SORN has not tax has mot but runs out very soon has v5 and user manual and various receipts for parts ive brought.. It’s done 38192km that’s when the top end went on it.

This is the bike that i rode up to manchester and back last year with moosey Rolling Eyes

Iam looking to sell this so I can put money towards a bandit1200 no silly offers please view is ok iam based in Southampton buyer must collect.

Thanks for looking
daz

What condition is the performance exhaust in, and would you be prepared to sell it separately? And what mileage did it go bang at? Just bought my first planet.

Cheers, looks li'ke i've got about 28,000 km before my top end goes then...

Does the mito exhaust just bolt straight on? or does the rear bracket need tinkering with?

jack it realy all depends on on how you ride your bike what oil you use etc it could go sooner rather than later if you get me.. the exhaust will need a small braket to attach it to the original hanger but there are verious mito modles all with diffrent exhaust chainbers so some may come up higher there for should bolt on with out any mods some will need a very small braket to hold the can to the peg. i dont know what year mine came off so i cant realy say too much.. also another thing is the belly pan the were exhaust is diffrent you may need to file a bit down on the left hand side as it curves round diffrently to the planet chainber but then again diffrent modles could be diffrent to mine.. the new planet.. raptor has a round can now as standard if any 1 is breaking one of those it could bolt on with no probs.. hope that helps Thumbs Up

Just checking, 38 thousand km? Shocked

Budgeting £300 for a new topend and probably a new bottom end at an extra ££££.....

What's a silly offer?
