£53, not bad. I expect it's cheaper elsewhere too.

Excellent idea, though I reckon it would be redundant after a while; you'd just never forget.

Smashing idea, although one of those string type things that go from the lock to the throttle are cheaper and easier to use to be honest.

There's the bonus of not having to carry it though.

I've gone home a couple of times for a lock before going shopping because I won't carry a lock in a backpack (Don't fancy one going through my spine) so have to swap with tailpack.

This means you'll never forget the lock either.

That's because disc locks are irrelevant on a ZXR400; no-one in their right mind would bother stealing one. Razz

Quite impressed that they supply one for the GS500 Laughing

I dont know whether to be happy or sad about it though... happy because i can get one... but sad because i know ill end up spending more money i dont have.

Cant work out if im glad i watched this or not Neutral

Although its a good idea, I find it far easier and cheaper to put my ignition key in the little bag that the disc lock normally lives in. That way when I return to my bike I have to take the bag out of my pocket and remove the key from it, thus reminding me about the disc lock thats on and not making an arse of myself. £53 in the sky rocket and no smashed bike. Plus you dont have one of those silly cables that just says 'Im either stupid or forgetful or both' Laughing

Erm, people that wanted to steal it?

Not that riding a bike is that hard with a missing peg.
In the last race on my first weekend I had a peg knocked off. I didn't notice until I had got around the next corner and was trying to change gear.

i'd be suspect of the weight. Maybe need to buy one for both sides. Looks alot longer to so ground clearance could be an issue. And how well does it actually work as a lock? Can you open it with a biro.

Other than that, brilliant idea Razz .

I wouldn't have been in the mid field 3rd corner argy-bargy if I was at all good Razz.

Have ridden road bikes home missing a peg as well in the past Smile.
