I would never buy iridium ones, but if I could get new plugs for £2.35 each for my CBR I'll be happy as thats a lot cheeper than they where last time I bought some last year.
Edit, nope still £7 odd per plug from wemoto. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

A lot depends on the plug type. A B8HS (as fitted to loads of 2-strokes) would cost around £2.50. Some of the plugs you see (NSR125 ones?) can be up over a tenner each.
The only difference between the honda packaged ones and the NGK packaged ones will be price.
I personally think NGK plugs are crap anyway. The quality has gone right down hill over the last few years. If you can get them, Nippon Denso ones are better. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. Bah, humbug. I must have misread something, I could have sworn I saw a CBR600 plug from them for £2.35.
I suppose it must be the difference between a CR plug and a DPR plug. The early CBR600F used a DPR8EA-9 and the later ones seem to use CR9---. I know that the DPR ones are only £2. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Hi
It might be that the OE plugs are a higher spec. Check the numbers on the plugs. For a car example a friend had an old RX7 and the NGK plugs from Mazda for it were not the same plugs that NGK sold for that car (Mazda sourced ones were multielectrode items, NGK sourced ones were single electrode).
Could be that they are platinum tipped. Could be that they are identical and Honda packaging is expensive.
All the best
