Pigeons.

My house has shares a yard with 6 others and one of my neighbours has taken to throwing bread on the ground in the morning for the birds.
As a result of this we now have a gang of pigeons sat about on our gutters waiting for food and crapping everywhere.
My back doorstep and wheelybin are covered with crap.
I cannot got and ask her to stap as she hates me and will probably just throw more out if she thinks it annoys me.
Any idea how I can get rid of them?
I dont own an airgun other wise I would just shoot them, and I dont really want to go out to buy one.
I have spoke to the enviromental health about it. They said they could speak to her, but she's not actually doing anything illigal.
anyone got any suggestions?

get a bb gun, you can pick up one that shoots metal bearings for about 50quid, packs enough punch to make them fuck off. my next door neighbour left food in the dogs bowls and the birds came for them, don't see them around my back garden anymore . they learn

Poisened bread thrown down in the same place when no one's looking, then report the women doing it to the RSPCA for killing birds .

get a big net, catch them, and then put them into your neighbours cupboards in her kitchen.

or get some tip-ex, and start painting "pigeon poo" all over your neighbours door,

or catch one pigeon, gut it, fill it full of lead shot, and throw it through her window!

I think movings a bit drastic, and if I was to move then it most certainly wouldn't be too Bolton. I did read that story. Thats why I contacted our council to see what they could do. As per usual they wont do anything. Seems that the only thing our council is efficient at is wasting money.....

Hand said neighbour a bucket of water and a rag. And explain she can clean the shit off your doorstep.

When I was in garden maintenance, one of our customers never cleaned the sh1t off the lawn. (She had 2 big dogs, one had a serious stomach prob ). She was quite happy for me to shovel it all up and put it in a bucket. 'Til one day I half filled a bucket with water, filled it with said sh1t, made a nice 'soup' and left it on her doorstep.

After that she'd run out of the house with bucket and shovel everytime the van pulled up.

Do a search for pigeons on the net and learn about all the diseases
they carry. Then inform her that she is putting you and your girls health at risk by attracting rodents into your yard.

Also say its attracting rats during the night and inform the council.

no baking powder does not make them burst it soluble paracetomal but thats cruel. Give them some lead in there diet rifle style.

What about those sonic alarm thingys, they work on cats and I think you can get them for birds, not sure.

They're inaudiable to us but annoy the cats so they piss off, like I say though not sure about one for birds.

Get yourself done the local zoo, buy a bag of lion shit and spread it around the edge of the gardens. It fucking stinks for a while but believe me,NO animal will come near,dog,cat or bird.
