Stemming from Dodsi's post about inappropriate things that people have said to one another ( https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=73466 ) I thought it would be interesting to see what sort of funny things have been said to others. I'll start...

Many moons ago when my father was visiting Oregon (US) he went to buy some food from the 'grocery' store, he was at the till paying for the goods and just when he was about to turn around and leave the woman behind the till asked my dad where in Australia he was from, he then said 'England - Do you know it'

He told he was almost in tears laughing.

The second funniest thing I can think of, is when my dad was having his lunch break with his mates and one of his mates Steve asked one of the other men if the biscuits he was eating were Bahlsen , the other guy replied with 'no, there alrite actually' LOL. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about , Bahlsen Biscuits sponsor ITV's Calendar weather for Yorkshire (don't know if they sponsor other regions). So it was pretty funny cause the guy for some strange reason thought that the word Bahlsen was a describing word and had no idea why they were laughing at him, until they told him

When i used to be a double glazing foot canvasser, my boss got talking to some woman and trying to smooze her into buying something, noticed a plaster on her leg.
Now cos she was wearing a footie top and shorts, he says, 'oh did you hurt yourself playing football?'
And she goes...

'No, its skin cancer...'
