What difference will a kevlar belt make to my 54 plate NRG LC? if any..
Also, what other cheapish, half decent mods can be done? excluding a race pipe which is already on order pretty much?
Cheers

It will probably just make the belt less likely to snap...

yeah it is just a lot stonger than your standerd belt, i recomend them if you are tuning it up, had one on my dna it lasted 10,000 before i changed it and it was still good. the standerd one only lasted 4000 miles before it snapped on me.

You should look into changing the variator rollers, they only cost a few quid.

try speaking to the guys at: pm tuning 01524823900
or: taffspeed racing 01633840450

they helped me alot when i was tuning my dna Thumbs Up

Rollers will already be done with my exhaust.
I'm aiming more for top speed, as the acceleration isn't overly bad for a 50 anyway.

I heard its also lighter than a normal belt so it can spin around quicker with out less "drag" but I dont no if this is true, It will for sure make it more reliable as kevalar is basicly unbreakable

Yeah, thats true, I may think about it, but only really when my belt needs replacing.
My whole bike is only just over a year old with 3400km on the clock, so i should think theres plenty of life in the belt.
If it snaps then i am truly shagged, however, i still have about 6 weeks warranty on it from the dealer i got it from, and i pile the miles on it, so its not all bad.

I got it on the 19 December, with 292km on it, its now done about 3400 so as you can imagine!
Cheers

I have had 70 mph, however with a mate on a 125 pushing me Cool
I have had about 58 going down the slope from warminster to westbury, and about 54 on the flat.
My speedo has been checked agains numerous 100, and 125 speedos, and seems very accurate.

Oh yeah, and not on full throttle, however i find full throttle makes it slower if anything, unless on a hill!

Cool, that ant bad, I dont feel safe on normal peds when I get over 50mph but im used to having a tank to grip my legs to.

You can buy a 100cc gearbox and stick it on, thatll give u top end but shitter bottom end.. im not sure if thats what u mean by the rollers lough. If u wanted to go all the way u could get a 100cc big bore kit but I wouldnt do it as insurance will not like that one bit if you come off and do alot of damged to urself, some1 else, or something else.

Nah, I'm no way putting a big bore kit on, and i'm no way changin clutch and gearbox and stuff, though a gear up kit is tempting (what exactly does one of these do in terms of acceleration and top speed?)
Also, when i get my leo vince, i know theres another restrictor somewhere, but can't think where? is it in the curve before the can?
Cheers

Shouldnt be restricted if u can get 50+ on flat roads so I think urs must only of been restriced in the exhaust.

On my geared bike in 6th gear, I used to have to pull 12,000 RPM to get it up to 60mph, but now I changed the rear sprocket I can do 9,500 rpm at 60mph. so it can go faster if I brought it up to 11,000 RPM or so, but thats redlineing it.

This is the same as changing the gearbox thing on ur ped I would of thought, except couse ur ped ant got gears its bottom end ( when u pull away from a stand still ) will be a bit more shiter, couse itll take longer to get to proper revs, but ur top end will be better, couse u can go quicker at the same/lower revs.

Its hard to explain at this time of day but if u can understand that then thats how, lol.
