Looking at getting one but have no idea which one to go for.
Can't see the difference between them. I'll need it for phone, gps, music, pillion and maybe for a radio in the future. Would be good to have pillion on the phone as well.

I really did look at the catalogue but it's far too confusing.

Have they released pricing yet? I got a couple of the "old" systems whilst they were half price. There are still some around if you're not desperate to have the latest model.

I'm sure the old models are just as good. What's a good one to go for?

The middle system (system 3) seems a good bet, at £75 (from £150) if you can find them in stock anywhere. Offers good advantages over the base system and not a lot less lot than the best system.

I can also recommend the old system its great. We have 2 sets one on each bike. Got them to hard wire it to the ignition so I dont have to keep charging the battery too.

So clear and still crystal at 70mph in really windy conditions!

Well worth it if you travel with friends who have it.

The kits are £75 until the new one is out so hurry and you might still be able to pick one up for this price

So from what I understand from the catalalogue the new ones have better mics, more input sockets and automatically adjusting VOX.

Hmm, an improvement but I was hoping for more really.

I think the 'old' systems are excellent now they are 1/2 price. I certainly don't think they are worth the original £280+ they would have been though.

Cool, system 3 it is then but where can I buy it from at a discount price? Any of the dealers on the autocom site?

Cheers

Yep, anywhere that still has them will sell them for £75. Smile

Be quick though, I phoned a few last week and they'd already sold out. Another I called wasn't doing them at 1/2 price because they didn't buy enough stock to be entitled to the discount at their end.

I know somewhere that still got them if you're stuck.

PM if you need the details.

Right, I've gone and bought an active 7. Speakers and Mike are brilliant but a bit confused by all the inputs.

I want to put in mp3, gps and mobile. There are two standard jacks and a random one. What do I do? I'd like it if everything went quiet when the mobile goes off.

Cheers Thumbs Up
