I don't know if you've seen the new but there is a discount card that looks likely to be released called the pipeline card, it will get you a discount of between 5-10p a litre on your petrol.

You can register on www.PipelineCard.org, this will get you a card in March/April time,

A major petrol retailer has agreed to the discounts if enough people register.

So come on register and we could get cheaper petrol.

Cheaper petrol = more miles + fun

It won't single out one retailer HerbalDayZ. All the petrol stations in the country are owned or supplied by 1 of 3 companies. They will have gone after one of these companies. If we're lucky it will be a place which runs a lot of supermarket petrol stations, as their petrol is cheaper anyway.

Petrol itself is actually really cheap. If you took the tax off the price of a litre of petrol it'd be about 20-30p...

It would be better to twist the governments arm (fat chance, I know) to lower the tax on fuel. It'll never happen though. Ever.

So in theory, they team up with 1 retailer to offer cheaper fuel to it's members. They may get 2-3p a litre off?

In reality, however much the discount it, it will be matched or beaten by other suppliers, supermarkets etc and will be a pointless exercise.

If it was going towards reducing tax on fuel it would work better, but discount from the retailer/supplier is pointless in the long run.

Anyone actualy read there site an check the ITN news clip.Showing about holland that they allready do it.Funny thing was the news clip was a bloke in holland talking to some dutch dude at a BP garage .me laughed at this didnt they make 12 Billion profit in 2005 shell beating them with 13.3 billion .

Tbh its sick they make 13 billion in 1 year an the fact is theres nothing we can do.As parents doctors an just people in general who need a car "Have to pay the prices" cant go some where else cant argue jsut have to take it.While the fat greedy cigar smoking basterds sit on there asses counting our money

Think the only way it would ever be dropped is if 90& of the country refused to by petroll took a train bus ride to work etc.They would lose millions but it would never happen
