NSR125 Temp Q's

My 1999 NSR125R never runs very hot, only about 1/4 between the blue and red. But, in town sometimes it will reach half way. This doesn't worry me at the moment but will it get worse in summer? i don't want it heat seizing. Also, is it normal for it to run this cool. Thanks, Ben

My NSR runs at about the same temp as yours under most conditions. It will very occasionally reach about halfway, but not often. The only time it consistently ran over halfway was when I had a small tear in a pipe, and was losing water. Might be worth checking yours is topped up. Thumbs Up
