I was out having a little squirt on the bike recently and some fool threw a bottle full of white liquid (looked like milk or something ) out of his van window right in front of me while I was filtering. It just missed hitting me on my visor!

The driver and passenger looked a bit shocked at first in my mirror when they realised that they could have hit me.... then they just laughed. (Jerks!) If I had the time I would have waited for them to come past again and I would have told them a couple of things their mother forgot to mention to them!

If he hit me I would have taken down his number and reported them to the police. I don't know why these idiots throw bottles and other junk onto the roads. It's bad enough having to have eyes in the back of your head, now you need radar for flying objects too! Rolling Eyes

fookin idiots. it pisses me off that they do it, can't they wait 'til they get home. obviously un-educated egits. its people like that that make our country a tip.

you (iron maiden) should have taken his number and reported him to the police, its dangerous throwing stuff from a vehicle.

i've seen all sorts thrown from cars/vans : fags, mcdonalds stuff, nappies, someones left over lunch (all neatly wrapped inside the asda carrier bag, they're mum left out for them),

I was on my way to an appointment so I was kinda in a hurry to just get there. The problem is I am a lady and they where two rather rough looking blokes in a van !! If it was a big guy on a bike they probably would have bricked themselves and said sorry.

edit / Although I can turn into the incredible hulk if someone scatches my bike or lid I can assure you!!!!!!!!!! Laughing

yup. Winds me up too.

Recently some asshole in an M3 threw a coke can out his window whilst I was overtaking and it got caught inbetween my front wheel and mudguard. Locked the front for a couple of seconds and I neally high-sided it.

As fortune would have it I'd just visited Halfords to buy a bottle of brake fluid. As he approached the next set of lights I in pulled just behind him and poured it all over the boot and rear wing.

That'll learn him.

Hasn't happened while I've been on the bike yet, but I remember some time ago stopped at a set of lights, someone in the car in front of me threw a McDons bag out of their window...
I got out of my car picked it up and threw the rubbish back in thru the open window Twisted Evil

A few expletives followed, but the lights changed and they moved off taking their rubbish bag with them Cool

Thumbs Up He'll be definitely be looking out for bikes, I'm sure he'll behave nicely to other bikes now. Rolling Eyes

It's not littering, it's keeping the road cleaner people in employment.

It would be difficult to prove unless you find some silly idiot to stand as a witness.
The police do not care for this sort of hassle. Sad

Best plan is carry a fresh dog shite in your pocket so you can flick it out as you pass the buggers.
If you are a good aim you'll get it in the window. Rolling Eyes

There's an idea. Plenty of space around the clocks to keep a bottle handy Thinking

I would have taken down his wing mirror Twisted Evil .
Another thing that pisses me off is when people do their wiper spray and you get a load in the face, but i guess that cant be helped.

I've seen this happen too, only in my case it was sat in the car park at MacD's and the car doing the dumping was parked 6ft from a litter bin.
