does anyone have any ideas of who to insure it with?

the only mods are the racing colours/stickers, it wil have an alarm/immobiliser and an abus chain.

it is restricted (obviously, L plates lol)

thanks for evry1s help with my previous posts by the way, its greatly appreciated.

DO ALOT OF SHOPPING AROUND but you probably knew that Razz
I was getting quotes for 600+, wouldn't mind but bike cost me 500.

I finally found MCE to be best, told them the lowest quote I got - 50 as you do Razz

I'm with MCE too, never had to use them though so can't report on the service.

They didn't charge me when I changed my address though.

Like everyone else said, ring around at least 20 places!

Here is a link a list of insurance companies that someone posted on BCF that I found very useful when hunting for a decent insurance quote myself not too long ago:

BCF Insurance Spreadsheet: ---> https://www.bikechatforums.com/download.php?id=10975

Once you get a decent price, I would say something like £350 on your bike if you live in a half decent area etc then ring round other insurance companies and make them undercut each other! The price they quote you is never the lowest price until they have to put the phone down on you!

My details are similar to yours and a couple of the best places I got quotes from are the following companies and think most price match:

    ChoiceQuote
    Rampdale
    Lexham

But I would leave these till last so you can really get them undercutting each other, as I think insurance is day-light robbery!

Best of luck! Thumbs Up

Hi
I've had a number of quotes for bike insurance but the best site I have found is Motorcycle Direct.
You will find them at:

www.motorcycledirect.co.uk

Hope this helps

You'll be better off probably getting your tax online, as you don't have to wait for the insurance cover note to come though and having to que at the post office for ages!

All you need is the documentation about your bike and have a new computerised MOT to apply for it only. Takes a couple of minutes and they send it within a couple of days, should have it by end of week if you bought it today really.

Just a idea! Thumbs Up
