My computer is running slower than usual and i think i've found the problem.

When viewing task manager under processes i have my usual, limewire using 53k the browser 40k ect, but there is a program running (vsmon.exe) which is using up to 180k. Could this be slowing my computer down?

It says its being run by system, is it necessary and will it fuck up my computer if i just end the process?

Nick

Description:
vsmon.exe is a processs associated with the ZoneAlarm personal firewall. It is used to monitor Internet traffic and generate alerts depending on the security rules configured by the user.

Best to try Ad-aware and Spybot to get rid of spyware, trojans and malware (try both, one finds some the other misses).

Then check your performance. Bear in mind more memory helps, what's the state/size of your disk virtual memory (maybe try and defrag it - do a google for some utils).

HTH Thumbs Up
