Hi,

Does anyone in the Reading area have a torque wrench I could borrow this weekend?

My chain needs doing and after MarJay's warnings on this thread I think I'll use a torque wench!

Beer and good Karma on offer Thumbs Up

Might be an idea to specify the torque settings required. Unfortunately I need to buy two torque wrenches to cover the majority of my bike's settings (well, one for almost everything and another for the odd bit and bob, which happens to include the axle bolt).

The only ones I saw when I went to buy one are the "Halfords Professional" range, which generally get good reviews. They're certainly reassuringly expensive (50-60 quid each) although in a different league to the electronic Snap-On ones at over 900 quid.

If you want a cheap one, there are plenty on EBay starting around £15.
