I placed an order at Buster's and after about a week, I discovered that my credit card details were stolen, and someone spent £400 gambling online, and another £300 on something else. Luckily Natwest were quick to spot the unusual transactions and they have promised me that the amount will be repaid into my account. I followed the earlier thread on this issue, and someone mentioned that the security breach had been dealt with, so I thought nothing would be amiss when I placed my order. I will never buy anything again online from Buster's. If you want, buy at your own peril, but dont say you haven't been warned! Also, dont believe it when someone says everything is now sorted; you may regret your mistake like I did!

A similar story was doing the rounds a few months ago, have a search for it.
IIRC the sites that the stories were on were threatened with legal action. Shocked

Maybe it's your PC has spyware or something - you can't be sure it was the store's fault at all - in fact I think that it's very unlikely to be Busters.

I keep my PC as clean as anyone can! Regularly updated anti virus and anti spyware programs etc. I dont think it is a coincidence that several people have had a problem shopping at one place! I did not make any other purchase on my credit card other than regular payments to AOL and such like. I am going to get the credit card company to report this to the police. I remember the last thread on this subject mentioning that their server was hacked into, and that a more secure system was now in place.

How fucking stupid is it to use your card for a gambling site?

I mean, where the hell do you think any winnings will go?

Straight into your account

Neutral

PS I assume that the thief isn't some kind of superskilled poker player and has kindly won you thousands..............

PPS I also assume that this is the way these websites work, losses are taken from the credit card and winnings paid into the card account. Question

My Mum ordered stuff from Busters and then had £1500 taken from her acct. Luckily she got it back, At the time I mentioned Busters but it wasnt anything we could proof, the transactions were apparently made in the midlands somewhere and Busters are based in Swansea.... who knows.
