hey guys. i was just wodering what you think would be the best option?

1. get a cheap 125cc to make mistakes now and upgrade later.

or

2. buy a 400cc tidy bike so i wont need to upgrade later.

(this will be my first bike)

THANKS FOR THE HELP Very Happy

If you have got your bike license then I would say get a 400 if you can afford it.

I am sticking to a 125 as it goes as quick as I need it to and more, plus gets me experience on road with a geared bike.

EDIT: Didn't see the 'this will be my first bike' bit

Get a 125 Razz

I'd recommend a 125 to start with. Dropping a CG125 is much less costly than dropping a CBR400. If you but a tidy 400 first, it might not be tidy when you come to sell.

125 for six months to a year, then upgrade.

Getting the experience is cheaper than fixing a tidy bike that's been dropped.

I did my cbt in June last year and bought a 125 which I have been riding on gaining valuable experience and have booked my test for next month.

I would say if u have no experience then get a 125 then upgrade at a later date

good luck Thumbs Up

Quite a few ppl on here started on NSR's. There good bikes. Not as much maintenance as a RS but alot more fun than 4-stroke options. They're generally a bit pricey though.

I'd say if you where happy to ride a CG get one but don't expect to be excited by it.
