Just thought Id let you lot in on some of the ridiculous goings on of the last couple of days...

Yesterday I discovered that the radiator in my room had started to leak. It has ruined the carpet and the bed as its all brown crappy water from the system. Got the radiator fixed today on the british gas insurance, nice one guys, and phoned the house insurance about the carpet/bed etc. got a bit of a runaround though. They want to see if they can clean the carpet rather than replace it and a load of bollocks like that but when I got home the house stunk of the water on the carpet, so I thought its got to go in the garage. All went well up to about 20 minutes ago when we were trying to move the wardrobe, and it let out an almighty crack. We had a look and it had basically fell to bits. Whilst we assessed the situ my dad lifted up the remaining object that was on a shelf in the wardrobe. Apparently it was a load bearing object and the fookin lot came crashing down, just missing my old lad and landing in the area where my precious LCD HD tv had been sitting. So now I guess they will have to come and see if they can 'clean' the wardrobe too!

Comedy picture later!

So now Ive got no bed and no room, my clothes are in a binbag and Im having to make a pilgrimage to the birds house. I was supposed to be playing pool tonight too Rolling Eyes

All this because of a dodgy washer on a radiator valve Twisted Evil

Carpet comes up a bit.. uh oh!

So we try and move the wardrobe, its a bit rickety anyway. Never seen the old guy move so fast!

Note where the poster of the lovely lucy pinder is on the first picture and in the one above. telly would have been on the critical list!

Need a few beers and I think I'll watch shameless before I ring the insurance company and tell them they might be spending a little more. Plus the rotten carpet is rolled into a nice ball festering away, good luck with cleaning that one arseholes!!

Erm, that was either one really bad piece of furniture or the load bearing object was far too heavy for it's use!! What did you have up there, couple of bowling balls??? Laughing Exclamation Exclamation

That's unfortunate though. Good to hear you had insurance.

Honestly we were just trying to shift it a bit over the carpet. It wasnt't the most sturdy piece of kit on the first place but once it went, it went quick! Laughing

Embarassed My Girlfriend won it on one of those grab machines in texas, and like every other piece of shit she doesnt want she brings it to mine and then casually forgets it! I knew some clever git would notice the bear in the corner!!!!

My teddys are off camera!Wink

Trouble is we phoned the insurance today and they said it would be classed as two seperate claims and hence two seperate lots of excess at 75 quid each. I tell you the bastards want their hands cut off. Evil or Very Mad
