BF2 1.2 Patch..

Well, it's finally been released, but the EA site gives a 404 when you try and DL it, presumably because of the amount of traffic.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a site that has it up for download already? Google isn't my friend at the moment in this case.

Hmm since getting the new patch, I played 2 rounds and I played awful on both
I hope it was just a one off blip and not down to changes made.

Quick question.

When you guys load BF2, what does your version number say in the top right? Mine's saying 1.1.254 something, and I just tried going on an official EA server and it said I must be running the same version. I installed the patch that I dl'ed off the 4u site. Seems I may not have even installed it.

Community Update - 2/20/06

Listen up Troops,

Although patch 1.2 included several fixes that we know were eagerly awaited, it unfortunately introduced some new issues. These are being addressed immediately and we are working around the clock to resolve those. Patch 1.21 (coming soon) will be tested in a limited beta with select Battlefield community members starting as early as this week. We’re doing this to ensure a clean release of 1.21. In addition, we have decided to postpone the Euro Force Booster Pack until sometime after the release of the updated 1.21 patch.

Hmmm, seems like I'm the only one who /doesn't/ mind the new patch. My game still runs perfectly, if not a little better.

Would of been better if you could still throw packs while jumping and destroy mines though. Much prefer the fact that Heli's and Jets are no longer nigh on invincible.

Yeah i noticed that, I was like yeah no more noob tubing, "wtf that guy just n00b tubed me" theres still loads of prone whoring, i think they should make it that you cant fire for 3 or 4 secs after going prone, everyone just dives to the floor bunch of pussies.
