I bought an old Honda hack, seller had the V5. Now I just have the section 10 new keeper suplement, which I used to tax the bike.

Two days later, I learned I had inherited some cash, and have changed my mind about this old bike, and want to sell it soon as.

Can I sell it without the whole V5, just the new keepers sup?

If so, what do I need to do, to ensure that all the t's are crossed and i's dotted, and I don't end up with speeding/parking fines in the future?

It is possible to sell without the V5, however you'll have a better chance of selling it with the full V5 in your hand and with any luck get a little more for it.

You can apply for one with just the reg number.

I would probably steer clear of a bike with no full V5. To me it either says it's possibly nicked/been written off. Or the seller recently bought it, found out it's a lemmon and is trying to pass it on quickly.
