Decided to go shopping with her as I was bored....... yes really bored.

Well went to the mall and I thought yeah 2 hours maybe a bit more and we would be gone........................................

My feet hurt the lot. How can one person spend over an hour looking at jeans. Shocked

Yeah i went shopping with my Gf and i swear we walked to the other end of the city centre to get a to a shop... she then didnt like the top in that shop and wanted the other top in the shop we just came from...

one day my gf (now ex) said lets go to manchester on saturday and go to some art galleries and museums and stuff.

her degree was art and im a bit interested in that kind of thing so i agreed. as we have done similar in birmingham once or twice and it was quite nice.

we ended up going in a few shops first and then we didnt have time to go to any galleries or museums and on the way home i realised we had gone in the same chain stores that they had in birmingham

so not only had i spent the day trudging round girls shops, id bought an unnecessary train ticket too (£20 or so) to get there

seemed daft to me but she enjoyed herself Smile

Clothes shopping is, for me, frighteningly dull. I've asked some of my female freinds why they enjoy it but none of them make sense to me. However, as I'm in need of some new clothes I finally gave in last Saturday and went shopping with one (later two) of them. Thankfully we didn't start until around 5pm because after an hour I was losing the will to live... However, I gamely struggled on until 8pm at which point I swear I sat down and started rocking backwards and forwards with a vacant look in my eyes. How can people do this week in, week out? Confused

Oh, and to make matters worse there was ONE decent item in the damn shops. Granted it was so lovely that it actually made me want to skip around the changing rooms as soon as I put it on but, it was still only ONE item. I'm giving up this lark again for a while and going to a friend to measured for things *I* like, that will fit and are not in foul materials. Far more civilised /nod
