Hi

Cheapest place I have found is Trade Direct on 08705 134859, but that is JT Sprockets (steel ones). £90 for a DID X ring chain and sprocket kit.

All the best

Keith

if your after more acceleration then you wana go up on the rear and down on the front mate. going one tooth less on the front works out about the same as going up 3 on the rear. going down one front and up 2 rear wil make a huge difference. it will be WHEELIE good Wink

Depends if you want them to last a reasonable length of time. Steel sprockets will last longer than alloy ones, and the difference in weight is pretty small. Personally I would not bother with alloy ones unless I didn't have a choice.

Hi

Afraid not a clue about the prices of alloy sprockets. Tend not to take any notice of them. For a rough idea of how much the steel sprockets cost, the prices of the stock size sprockets was £6.50 and £18.95, so the chain was about £65 of the £90 for the kit.

All the best

Keith

Make no noticeable different, and the front sprockets are not alloy normally (if they were they would be shot in about 5000 miles).

All the best

Hi

X ring and O ring just refer to the seals on the links on the chain. Normal chains do not have seals. O ring seals are just a rubber ring with a round section. X rings are similar but with a section like an X, idea being that they have more contact points to seal the link.

All the best

Keith
