sv carb restrictors

im not after derestricting the bike im just curious as to were the restrictors are

today i was doing general cleaning and maintenance on the bike

putting grease on wires and cables and i had to remove the air box wich just popped off, wich i wasnt expecting

and i could see right into the air box sides of the carbs and there was no visible washers or anything

so just wondering where they are.?

Afaik they are different slides in sv carbs rather than washers.

and if they are washers they would be in the other side of the carb, in the rubber manifold part from the carb to the engine

Hi,

with the airbox off gently slide up the black plastic thing in the carbs and you will see the restrictors. They are the shiney silver things with the small hole in them.
