Anyone out there actually use Filemaker?

I need to find out if a Filemaker database can be exported as something a bit vaguer, before I install Filemaker on here just to read this db I've been sent.

Ta.

That the adobe one?

If so I used filemaker Pro quite a few years ago now. You could export database data in a variety of formats such as tabbed data. All depends how you wrote the datbase. If you have a lot of related records and use 'windows' through to other databases, it can be tricky to export what you have in any useful way.

It could hoover data from loads of other formats like works database, spreadsheet and excel then dump it directly into fields for you so I presume it can work the other way too.

Sorry not to be more specific, I last used it about seven years ago.
