First off, a disclaimer.

I want to spray one of my bikes in this scheme colour - my current bike is my CBR 125 and whilst I might consider it, I'll probably wait until I get a bigger bike.

Secondly, my photoshop skills aren't fanastic, so some imagination will be required.

With that out the way I want to show you my dream colour scheme for a motorbike Smile

Rising Sun Colour Scheme
https://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a368/TheBoyChris/Misc/CBRScheme.jpg

Ok, so the idea here is the Japanese rising sun, a la:
https://www.gr8gear.com/ProductImages/flags/28%20japanese%20rising%20sun%20flag.jpg

I want to take the sun and centre it on the front wheel, with the rays radiating out along contours of the bike where possible.

Some things I couldn't photoshop but would also want to try are:

-> Wheels - Front wheel red alloy, back wheel white alloy.
-> Seats - Both need to be white leather.
-> Chassis - Tough part, can silver/dark parts be sprayed with any paint to continue the scheme?

The whole project, when I get going, is not a practical one. I just think it'll look cool, and even though white stains easily I think it'd stand out Smile

Oh, and if that works out I'd even consider putting red LED's in the air vents Very Happy Sounds chav-ish, but in my head it looks awesome.

Anyone else got a custom colour scheme in their heads or to show off?

(Ok, let the ripping begin, hehe)

Chris

I think it'll look awesome, just not on a CBR125. Save the paintjob untill you can get a modern Japanese sports bike (at least 1998 or later) and then do it!

I might do it myself if I remember when I have those bikes! Thumbs Up

Looks like quite a cool paintjob, but do save it for a proper bike as on the 125 it would be wasted. Thumbs Up

very nice, but buy a kwak and you can get that (or very similar) as standard would look silly on a honda for that reason

Thanks for the comments guys Smile

I see your point about the Kawk, but it's not quite right. It uses a black and red colour scheme, and it doesn't have radiating fins from the front wheel arch, only the top part. If I could get the majority of the bike white it would look significantly different Very Happy

Wonder how it'd look on a 'Busa, you can get them in white I'm sure...
