More specifically, for a 2002-onwards Fireblade...but I believe that most modern Hondas should share the same part.
It's basically the bit that is screwed onto the bottom of the brake lever mount - it looks like a small plastic box (about 2cm x 3cm x 0.5cm?) with a metal contact switch on one end.
Don't wanna think how much Honda will charge for a new one (and too lazy to trek to Fowlers), but if anyone has one that they wanna sell, then please drop me a PM.

Hiya,
I purchased one of these for my NSR125, cost me £11 from Alf Englands Bedworth, they do mail order I believe
or if you are really stuck as I know you know Phoenix I could pop along get one and post it to you and you can send me the cash via Pho or by snail mail.
website for Alf Englands : https://www.alfenglandmotorcycles.co.uk/
good lads up there they will sort you out with what you are looking for. Any honda dealer should be able to get them though.../shrug/
