Well Im right pissed off at this moment in time.

I have brought my xbox 360 from my house over to my girlfriends place and set it up. I set the bastard thing up on its side for the dirst time ever and switched it on. As is was booting up I realised it was blocking the sky box so I edged it along the table a bit.

Now Dead or Live 4 doesnt boot up. I checked the disc and it has a perfect circle etched into the outer rim of it. Ive read on the net and it looks like a common problem, but only if te box is turned from upright to horizontal, not mentioning just shuffling it along. Im really pissed off about this, so take it as a warning all you xbox users.

So my plea for help, do the 'disc doctor' or any of the other miracle cures out there really work? Im even open to old wives tales etc as im fucked if Im spending 40 quid on another copy of this bag of shite.

Any help?

I would love to take it back to HMV because I hate the bastards, trouble is that I bought it off their online store - it was more than enough trouble just to get the damn thing off them in the first place.

I didnt even move the fucking thing that much, about 3 inches. Grrrr.

Apparently its a common problem.

Ther used to be a kit for filling in and repairing scratched discs. Theres another type for polishing discs.

Try Maplins.

Go and hire a copy out of Blockbuster but be careful you don't mix up the discs. Shifty

If you have a CHIPS computer store they can polish disks up if they aint too badly scratched.

However the scratch the 360 puts in is normally unrepairable, if you get in touch with microsoft they will normaly replace the game as it is a recognised fault with the machine.
