I'm off to Cyprus in May for a week and decided to see about hiring a motorbike while over there.
Searched on the internet and came up with a few companies and decided to go with one near to my hotel, so that it would be easy to get the bike.
E-mailed the company to check availability etc and received an e-mail back telling me what bikes they had, the cost of hire (including a one off payment for petrol), the law relating to crash helmets along with an offer to supply one FOC.
I e-mailed back to confirm and to offer payment to secure the booking. They replied that payment would be acceptable on picking up the bike and that if I was agreeable they would come and fetch me from the hotel the day after my arrival and bring me to their offices to complete paperwork.
The cost of the hire will be about £110 for the week.
I have to say that I was very impressed at the ease with which it was all accomplished!

Me and a mate are off to Cyprus in july and will be hiring bikes as we,ve both got full liences, what sort of bikes can you hire out there or is it all scooters?
