Help opening downloaded clips in .wmv

When i download a clip in .WMV format and i click to open in windows media player a box comes up with nickname and password box to fill in and a link to aquire the liscence!

ok
so i follow the link and it takes me to an advert to get a free ipod or camera etc...

so how do you get the password to aquire the liscence?
any ideas anyone?

oh and try to explain in basic terms, im a bit of a numnut on comps!

I would avoid it if you can. Sounds like a video downloaded from a paid members site, usually you have to give your login details to view it.
