When to change address on driving licence? , on the back of the
paper bit it says when you change your PERMANT ADDRESS and I'm
thinking eh?

What defines permant and tempery address? , I was down in Falmouth for a Temp job and didn't change it (short 3 month contract), I am now in another larger city nearby , for a 9 month contract which won't be renewed once the 9 months are up.Once this job is over I'm moving back before considering my next steps

Does this warrant a change of driving licence address?

considering

99% of my stuff is in Manchester

My pay slips all have my Manchester address

My pay slips/CHQs are all posted and banked in Manchester

That address I visit every 3 weeks to pick up post

ALL my post goes through that address

My parents live at that place so its not sold or anything.

Everything ie credit cards is registered at the Manchester place

Absolutely nothing in this City has my name on it
ie Bills , clubs memberships , telephones , broadband etc

I'm loathed to change it due to DVLA incompetence and them
taking off categories of vehicle I am allowed to drive/ride
though the £1000 fine and the fact that my MOT and insurance
are up for renewal soon and this makes meconsult you guys.

Thanks

I haven't changed my address yet.

It's a £1000 if you don't apparently, but I might take my test soon so I'm going to keep it for now.

You said yourself your address is temporary, so don't change it.

I agree with bendy, you are only temp where you are, if everything you get is sent to Manchester, then that is your permanent address. Thumbs Up
