Where do you think the shop owner got it from?

I meant selling it as new. As in another shop for a profit claiming it is new
??

Perfectly legal, but if you can turn a profit you'll be very lucky. What exactly are you planning on doing? Confused

More info required mate, it depends where you buy the first dvd, if you are bringing it into the country you may be liable for an import tax.

Buying from one uk shop to sell in another is ok,as long as the goods are correctly described,ie you cannae watch it then sell it as new Laughing

Cant really see it being worthwhile unless you are selling well away from the area you get it cheap from,as most shops have some sort of price promise/watch and will drop prices to match each other.

Oh yeah, another thing, it won't work as any sort of long term thing as the distributors/suppliers of the original stock will limit/stop stock going to those that sell too cheap, I know its illegal but they do run a cartel system to protect the percieved value of their products. Evil or Very Mad

I used to buy stuff from tkmaxx & resell it as brand new on ebay.
didn't do to badly. most stuff was a couple of quid profit, but best was a hoody bought for £15 & sold for £35.
