This morning the weather felt slightly milder than it has been over the last week. So I thought I might give the old girl a bit of a run this afternoon.

When I went out later the wind had built up to severity levels and it was bloody freezing. So I thought 'F**k that!'.

Please, please, please, bring on the Spring weather Thumbs Up

ive been on the cbr every day since december 20th i think it was, got heated grips which make a major difference, im only wearing summer gloves! so dry up the lot of you, grin and bear it, and then we can all be overjoyed and really appreciate the good weather when it comes lol.

Looking at the forecast, it shows a nasty drop in the temperature till Friday, something like -7!

I have been struggling to get up in the mornings, knowing it is going be cold on the way to work, but you know what as I’m riding, sometimes a little glimmer of that sun brings a smile on my face because I remember last year and I know what’s coming. Wink

Went to pick my sister up from a party a while ago at like 4am. Normally if i had my bike i would stay up, this time got up (only in boxers) put my dressing gown on and trainers, got in my car and went to collect her. Laughing

lol whatever, i've done the whole ride in the cold 2 winters including pizza delivery at night over winter. Sucked big time.

The weather has been very wet recently, but at least the weekend was dry.
I can't complain too much because I have managed to get out pretty much every weekend since I got my bike last August, even just for a 30 minute ride. I do live on the tropical south coast of blighty though.
I am really looking forward to a clear, mildly warm spring day, it will be heaven. Riding in the winter will make me appreciate it.
It wasn't so bad on the weekend, it's only when I'm cruising back home that I feel like my fingers have been slammed in a van door!
