Looking to try and get brighter lights for my CBR 600 FY, like the BMW style lights. Don't know much about the lights etc was wondering if it was possible any decent sites.

Thanks in advance.

Wrote up a recent thread about something like this any may people recommended phillips blue vision or philips vision plus bulbs for that blueish kinda tint, not an exact blue, but close enough.

PIAA also makes some good bulbs as well, including ones which generate more light with less power. Worth a look into, at any rate.

Before you buy new headlights, try this https://www.easternbeaver.com/Home/Main/Products/H4_kits/h4_kits.html. It cost me £28, including delivery. Most japanese bike's headlight power supply passes through the switches on the handlebars, and there can be a voltage drop of more than 1.5V because of this. With the relays and heavy duty wires, you get better power delivery to the bulb, and if you upgrade to a more powerful bulb, the relay / wires will prevent your electrics from getting fried up by the extra current drawn. You can revert back to original by simply unplugging it. Works a treat! It also gives you fexibility regarding choice of bulbs. A twin headlamp version is available. Despatch is very prompt. It was a pleasure doing business with the beaver Wink Shocked .

try this one as well https://www.autobulbsdirect.com

i got some cheap ones from them, £4.99 for a pair of H4s. they appear bluer/whiter than the philips one, which i had bought before, and is now lying around as a spare

they also do the HID kits. if your bike has one main light on, then its worth considering for the kit at around £130. i guess the kit should be worth it as you will stand out more (with the 8500k version).

stick an 80/85w bulb in. makes a huge difference.
My yzf has 2 30/35w bulbs, I swapped em for 55/60's.
big improvement & no problems so far after 11 years. Very Happy
