Summer Nurburgring Trip 2006

I've seen a few threads around about going to the awesome Nurburgring but don't know if they have actually taken place.

So who's up for going sometime later in the year? Nice leisurely ride over, a couple of days riding the track maybe and plenty of beer Very Happy

One of those things that really need to be ticked off the biking "done" list.

I've been there before Joe, wouldn't recommend going by bike first time around, the amount of times I nearly wrote off the car doing that circuit.

Have you looked at www.nurburgring.org.uk

It's got some good information for first time ringers.

I'm going again this summer... went 3 times last year, all in a car though. If you can, try and go midweek, less traffic on the 'track' then Thumbs Up

the nurburgring is a awesome place!

anyone see the top gear episode when savine shmitz (spelt incorrectly i know) the german female car driver tried to get round the circuit in less than 10 minutes!! what a truly awsome circuit!!

the closest she came to was something like 11minutes not sure but she was passing bikes, cars everything!!

The place itself looked amazing though...when im older and got a bigger bike il definetly be going!! Thumbs Up
